Game Fairness and Security in Poker
How are the cards shuffled?
The cards are shuffled using our certified Random Number Generator (RNG). Achieving a truly random shuffle is a difficult technical challenge, and there are several built-in measures that ensure a fully randomised deck. As an extra layer of security, the deck is re-shuffled immediately before a new card is required. Since there is no storage of a pre-shuffled deck, it is impossible for anyone to know what the next card will be before it is dealt. This means we don't need to 'burn' a card either, as they're already secure.
Can I have more than one Poker account?
Yes. However, you may only use one account for playing in a game or tournament. You are not allowed to play from different accounts in the same game or tournament. You are also not allowed to share any account with a friend.
Any breach of this rule will be taken very seriously and may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the site. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Can two people play from the same household in the same game?
No. Two accounts playing from the same location are not permitted to play together at the same table, in order to ensure fairness and allay concerns of possible collusion.
Can I play at the same table as a friend?
Yes. However, be aware that you must play against your friends in the same way you would against other opponents. Any kind of cooperative behaviour, including 'soft play' (not betting against your friend) is collusion, and will be taken very seriously. Any form of collusion or unethical conduct may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the site.
What is Collusion?
Collusion is cooperative behaviour with another player, in order to gain an unfair advantage over the other players at the table. Examples include betting or raising for the benefit of a partner holding a strong hand or sharing information about private hole cards. Collusion is strictly forbidden under any circumstances. Any breach of this rule will be taken extremely seriously and may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the site. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
What is Chip-dumping?
Chip-dumping is a form of Collusion. This is the practice of deliberately losing chips for the benefit of another player. Chip-dumping is strictly forbidden along with other forms of Collusion. Any breach of this rule will be taken extremely seriously and may result in a temporary or permanent ban from the site. For more information, please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
What are you doing to protect me from Collusion at the Poker Tables?
We have implemented several systems to ensure the highest level of fairness in our Tournaments. Every Poker hand is monitored by data-analysis algorithms in real time, to identify potentially dishonest behaviour. If we detect a risk of cheating, the system will raise an automated alert with our Poker Security Team, who can investigate within minutes.
Long term, we also use sophisticated data-analysis techniques to recognise statistical anomalies and any patterns that seem suspicious. We use special software tools to support these investigations. In fact, we go to more effort than most sites because we genuinely care about the integrity of our games and the protection of our players.
If I believe I have seen Collusion or Chip-dumping, who should I contact?
Though the systems are looking out for this automatically, if you believe you have seen colluding or chip-dumping, please contact support@rainbowrichescasino.com immediately, quoting the table name, the time of the incident, and the reason you feel that what you saw may have been collusion or chip-dumping. You can also take a screenshot of the table in question so we can view the Hand ID and Table ID for ourselves. You can find out how to take a screenshot here.
What is your policy regarding third party software?
While playing Poker on Rainbow Riches Casino, it is prohibited to use any third-party software that gives a player an unfair advantage over others in any way.
