Deposit Limits
What is a Deposit Limit?
Responsible Gambling is very important to us as we always want players to be comfortable with the amount of time and money they decide to spend here. The Deposit Limit can help with that, as it helps to limit the amount you can spend with us. For more information on our Responsible Gambling Terms, please click here and refer to Section 10.
How do I set a Deposit Limit?
You can set a Daily, Weekly or Monthly Deposit Limit by going to My Account > Responsible Gambling > Deposit Limits or by clicking here. You will also see the options on the Deposit page when making your first ever deposit.
A Deposit Limit is the maximum that you would be able to deposit during the selected time period, so you can still decide to deposit less if you want to. There's no 'subscription' so you're never committing to spending a certain amount of money.
How long does a Deposit Limit last?
A Deposit Limit will run continuously unless you choose to change or remove it. A Daily Deposit Limit re-sets at Midnight. The Weekly and Monthly run on a rolling basis starting from the date set. For example, if you set your Weekly Deposit Limit on a Wednesday, it will re-set each Wednesday.
What does a Deposit Limit do?
It restricts how much money you can put into your account in a selected period. This means you are always in control of your money. For example, if you select £25 a week, once you have deposited £25 you will not be able to deposit until the next week.
When setting a Deposit Limit, it will take into consideration any money that’s been deposited already that day. This means that if you set a limit of £25 a day at 5pm, but you have already deposited £25 or more that day, you would not be able to deposit again until the limit resets at midnight.
How do I change my Deposit Limit?
You can return to the Responsible Gambling section by going to Menu My Account > Play Responsibly > Deposit Limits to select a new amount or time period. However, this does not take effect immediately in all situations. Once set, the confirmation page will let you know when the new Limit starts.
Please note that once it's time to accept a new limit, you must do that before depositing. If you do not accept the new one before depositing then the old limit will restart.
What happens if I change the frequency of my Deposit Limit?
When changing from a Daily to a Weekly limit or Weekly to Monthly limit, your new limit will come into effect at the end of the previous limit period, as a standard increase would do.
Frequency is taken into consideration even if the overall monetary amount would decrease. For example, if you change from a £500 Monthly Limit to a £50 Daily Limit this will take effect once the current Monthly Limit has ended. Though the amount of money is less overall, it would allow you to increase the regularity of deposits, so this is an increase.
How do I increase the amount of my Deposit Limit?
You can request to increase your limit to a higher deposit amount or higher frequency at any time, but the change will only take effect after the current limits time period ends.
When the current limit ends, you specifically need to go to My Account > Deposit Funds to be prompted with the pop up to accept or decline the new limit. We would note that this can't be done on the Quick Deposit Page, only the main Deposit Page.
Daily Limit: Daily limits start and end at midnight. If you change from a £50 Daily limit to a £100 Daily limit on Monday, you will need to confirm the change after 00:00 on Wednesday, and then you can deposit up to £100 in total on the day that you accept.
Weekly Limit: Weekly Limits run for 7 days from the day they are set/accepted, starting and ending at midnight. If you request to increase your Weekly limit from £50 to £100, the change will come into effect at the end of the current 7 day period. For example, if you set a Weekly Limit on the 12th, this would run until midnight on the 18th and after this time you would be able to accept any requested increase. If you didn’t accept the increase until the 24th, your new limit would run until the 30th.
Monthly Limits: Monthly Limits run for 30 days from the date that they are set. If you change your limit from £200 to £500 on the 2nd of November, the change will come into effect on the 2nd December.
How do I decrease a Deposit Limit to a smaller amount?
If you decide that you would like to deposit less money at the same frequency, this change will take effect immediately and it will take into consideration any previous deposits made during the limited period.
For example, if you have a £500 Daily limit, and deposit £100, then change to a £100 Daily limit, you will no longer be able to make any further deposits that day.
New Players
We will be applying a daily Deposit Limit to every single new player. The limit runs every 24 hours from the time the account was created. If you would like to update this, please contact our Customer Due Diligence Team on 01782 983221.
